Why Opt for a Modular Sofa?

Although we’re dreamers and design visionaries here at UNIQAT, we also realise that you can’t always buy your perfect piece of furniture and make it fit into your space. Sometimes (or, better said, most times), you have to make the furniture you’re buying work with your area and other pieces you already have. 

That’s why modular sofas are the ideal solution. With a modular sofa, you’ll never find yourself in a position to fall in love with a piece, only to find out it’s too big or too small for your space.

What the LOOP Sofa Can Do For You

The modular LOOP sofa comes in three different sizes. The first one, which is more of a loveseat and an ideal pick for your office, is the 168 cm LOOP sofa. The other two are somewhat longer, at 188 cm and 208 cm in length.

Of course, this dried beech sofa doesn’t offer only three different versions of the same piece of furniture. The basic LOOP sofa is 82 cm high and has a seat height of 46 cm. The seat depth is 54 cm. 

But what about the non-basic LOOP sofas? What can they offer?

Two-Seater LOOP Sofa

The LOOP sofa has four different categories of modules. Depending on what you want your sofa to look like, you can opt for modules from either of these categories. 

If you’re looking for the perfect two-seater modular sofa, then the basic LOOP, which is module 22 in the picture below, is the perfect pick. However, if you want to spice things up, you can also check out the other modules from the two-seater category:

• Module 21, which is a left-end piece that you can combine with
• Module 23, which is a right-end piece

If you’re wondering why you should bother combining the two, it’s because their combined length is 308 cm. If you have a 3-meter space that you’re looking to fill with a sofa from wall to wall, then this combo will be the perfect fit. 

Of course, you can also combine these two modules with the ones from the other three categories.

Three-Seater LOOP Sofa

The three-seater LOOP sofa comes in two sizes, the 188 cm one and the 208 cm one. If you’re looking for either of these two pieces, you can simply opt for module 272 or module 32 (depending on the actual length you’re interested in).

However, let’s see what other shapes your three-seater could possibly take.

• Module 271 is a left-end piece that’s 174 cm long and 86 cm deep.
• Module 273 is a right-end equal to the previous module.

Just like with a two-seater, you can combine these two modules to create an extra-long LOOP sofa. You could do the same with the third category modules:

• Module 31, 194 cm long and 86 cm deep
• Module 33, which is the same size as module 31

As you can see, by mixing and matching the modules from various categories, you can create a sofa that’s exactly the right size for you. But what happens if you have to fill a corner?

Well, you arrange our modules into a corner sofa, of course!

Corner LOOP Sofa

By arranging the modules from the previous three categories and the modules from the final category, you can create the perfect corner sofa. 

• Module 71 is a right-corner module that’s 156 cm deep and  cm long
• Module 73 is the left-corner equivalent to module 71

Aside from these, there are two more modules that you should pay attention to. Module 12 is essentially a one-seater or an armchair that’s a perfect addition to your LOOP sofa (no matter which arrangement you pick). It’s 81 cm long and 86 cm deep. 

Aside from an armchair, the wonderful LOOP collection also includes a footstool. That piece is 90 cm long and 70 cm deep. 

The LOOP collection was created, so all pieces work together in harmony. However, that doesn’t mean that you need to have more than one piece. All five furniture pieces that are a part of the LOOP collection can stand on their own and become the new focal point of your room (yes, even the footstool).

The wood the legs are made out of is high-quality, just like all other materials the sofa is made out of. For example, the high elasticity HR foam, as well as the ergonomic RG foam that make the LOOP sofa so fluffy and comfortable, are both top-notch materials. Therefore, it’s only logical that everything else is of the same or higher quality.
